Troop 296 goes camping every month*, offering Scouts the chance to explore the outdoors, learn new skills, and build lasting friendships. We camp at a variety of locations, including state parks and official BSA campgrounds, where Scouts can enjoy hiking, cooking over a campfire, working on rank advancement, and participating in hands-on activities that bring the Scouting program to life. Whether it’s your first time sleeping in a tent or you’re an experienced camper, our trips are designed to be fun, safe, and rewarding for everyone. Camping is a big part of what makes Scouting exciting.
